In 1926, My Grandfather began selling wringer washers in Greensburg for Fred Maytag. He would utilize a donkey that was capable of navigating farm roads to present farmers the new models of washers that were being sold - he later coined the “Jackass Express”. Since then, we have owned stores in various other towns in Westmoreland Country throughout the years. The Maytag family tradition was passed down through generations from my Father and Uncle to even my Mother and Stepdad, who still come by a few days each week to help out! Our company always finds time for the community. From supporting local food banks, school sports teams, Churches, scouting and many other charities – we try to help as much as we can. Supporting local business and providing service when needed just runs in the family!
